If I load this to my mapeditor
It lags as hell
and my pc crashes

I guess it's way too big... I loaded here and it worked fine... though a bit lagged.
It's really working though I havent checked to see if it's 100%.
Imma take a deeper look later I guess.

There is no LB and all the islands around LB, no Sva and the isles, the crocos underground in PH are not there and many more. This is just a normal 7.8? map

If it lags as hell, you need a better PC

Well I downloaded it its actually 8.0
And it's a very huge file
It takes like 35 secs to open the map..
@Milso You need a faster CPU cause its a hell of a big map ..

So yes you will need a faster CPU Milso..

I don't think that the real-tibia map should be allowed into this forum. Only if Knightmare himself wan't to post it here (I bet you he doesn't). And this is even illegal.

I agree with Mackan, it is illigal. I don't know what troubles you can get with uploading them, but I think you can get some. :O

It'S such illegal as we are mapping the Cip-Soft's grafics.... Not only he does illegal things... remember that!

well, i'm sorry but you are wrong.
Open tibia is legal, and mapping is also legal, but using the Real tibia map is Illigal because it has it's copitright (©).

and who told you that? How do you know that the Tibian grafics doesn't have copyrights, too?
I can also say that we discussed about it on otfans.de that it's illegal...

Indeed I think it might be illegal, and in parts I do agree with Basti.
I mean, if we go down to talk about law and that kind of stuff you'll see that in real life you may always try to copy a painting for example, let's say Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.

One day I wake up and start to make an exact copy of Mona Lisa.
It's perfectly legal and normal. The only thing that makes it illegal is trying to sell it as my own creation. That violates the copyrights.
The way I see it is like, you can never be allowed to, for example do like the old Empire ot. They used to charge money for premmy accounts.
I don't think that is legal even with a home made map. Cause the client and the engine is not yours.

So I let members post all kinds of maps. What they do with it, is up to them and I'm not responsible for that.

the engines are not copyrighted, free to edit 'n stuff, and if you use custom client, and players can only log in with the custom client, then you're doing a fully legal job and you may charge money If I'm right...

Well then why it stands in Tibia.exe>version this?
